What is the difference between Ceramic film and Carbon dyed film?

These two films are manufactured with a few different materials, but overall it is the same process. The materials the make up a ceramic film focus mostly on UV and heat (IR) rejection. This process of sputtering with ceramic give much better optical clarity when you are in the car looking out. Carbon Dyed film is a good film that assists with heat and glare reductions where a ceramic film does it that much better. Both film offer a limited lifetime warranty. Basically it is like purchasing a pair of sunglasses from SunGlass hut for $300 or purchase a pair from a 7/11 for $20. They both serve a purpose but the look out clarity and polarization of the more expensive pair is clearly seen.

Which Ceramic Coat should I get for my vehicle?

There are so many variables which makes it hard to answer this question in a FAQ. I highly recommend you discuss this with a detailing professional. Here are the factors to consider:

What color is your vehicle? What is the age of your vehicle? How long do you plan on keeping it? What is your budget? How important is your vehicle’s protection to you? Do you want assistance with swirl minimization or are you just looking to make the vehicle look cleaner longer and make it easier to clean when you do?

We do not use waxes anymore! We feel that in the New England climate, the best products to protect, maintain, and stay on your vehicle for the longest time are ceramic sealants and coatings. Our favorite line is from a companys are CarPro and Gtechniq.

Can I wait for the vehicle?

We recommend that you drop off all vehicle with window tinting and auto detailing. For detailing, We like to let the car dry for a bit and make sure nothing pops up like a stain, or maybe we missed some wax. We complete the car, pull it outside for a bit, and then review it again with new eyes.

For tinting, we like the let the car set outside in the sun to make sure no bubbles pop up as the drying process begins.

For all situations, we call/text you the minute the car is ready for pick.
